Strategic Sustainability Guidelines

Guideline #1: To work actively to expand recycling, playing our part in the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Objectives:

Always innovating in search of new recycling and waste recovery practices and technologies to ensure the best use of materials in the circular economy;
Actively participate in the regulatory debate and in the construction of public policies that value and encourage recycling;
Contributing to society’s socio-environmental education, especially about recycling;
Constantly seeking solutions to minimize the use of natural resources and mitigate the social and environmental impact of our operations;
Foster the environmental development of partner companies across our value chain.

Guideline #2: To value and respect people, encouraging partnerships and joint development.

Objectives:

Ensure the safety and contribute to the health and well-being of our employees;
Promoting a work environment that welcomes and respects diversity;

ISO 9001

Guarulhos Sucatas establishes a systemic approach for quality management, managing and ensuring products within customer’s specifications, characteristics that allow the company to have a certified Quality Management System per the requirements of NBR ISO 9001.

Guarulhos Sucatas implemented and currently maintains an Environmental Management System certified per the NBR ISO 14001, as it knows and manages the environmental impacts of its activities, complying with applicable laws, reusing natural resources, and favoring sustainable practices.
